The Citizen Fund’s mission is to provide the tools, resources and information the American people need to hold elected officials and government accountable, and to also elect new citizen activists to office as representatives of the people

America was built by farmers, tradesmen and merchants, average citizens, united by a common desire for freedom and liberty. That what makes America exceptional.

Our government is designed to be “of the people, by the people and for the people.” The Citizens Fund will ensure that it is the people who hold the power in the country and preserve that right for future generations.

U.S. Chamber Drops Pretense of Conservatism With Pending Landrieu Nod

ATLANTA, Ga. – In a move that should surprise no one, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – supporters of President Obama’s early TARP, auto bailout and stimulus boondoggles – plans to endorse Louisiana's liberal U.S. Senator, Mary Landrieu.

“In a way, this is a good thing,” Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund (TPPCF) Chairman Jenny Beth Martin said. “The Chamber long ago stopped concerning itself with Main Street conservative business values. By endorsing a radical like Mary Landrieu, the Chamber’s transformation will be complete. So long as a candidate supports amnesty, a ‘D’ or ‘R’ by her name is irrelevant.”

Amnesty Advocate Lamar Alexander: New Convert to Border Security?

ATLANTA, Ga. – Longtime Establishment incumbent Lamar Alexander – a supporter of amnesty for those who break America's laws to enter the country illegally – seems to have undergone a radical conversion. Or so he would have Tennesseans believe.

"Is the Lamar Alexander who voted for the 'Gang of Eight' Amnesty bill the same guy who recently told the Senate Appropriations Committee he had the solution for the border crisis?" asked Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund (TPPCF) spokesman Kevin Broughton. "Last year, he thought the survival of the Republican Party required him to vote with Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer and throw open our borders. When a human wave of criminality and disease crosses the Rio Grande, he becomes Pat Buchanan on steroids."

TPPCF Kansas Senate Survey: Wolf Threatens Roberts

ATLANTA, Ga. – Dr. Milton Wolf threatens incumbent U.S. Senator Pat Roberts’ hold on his seat in the Senate, according to the results of a survey released today by Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund (TPPCF) – Roberts leads Wolf by just 42-30 percent.

Among those survey respondents who had enough information about the two candidates to have formed opinions about both of them, the ballot reversed – among this subset of respondents, Wolf actually leads Roberts by a substantial 48-32 percent margin.

Conservative Coalition Leaders Demand Answers in Tainted Mississippi GOP Runoff

A coalition of eight conservative grassroots leaders wants Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus to launch an internal investigation into questionable activities surrounding the June 24 runoff election for the Republican Senate nomination in Mississippi, which pitted incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran against state Sen. Chris McDaniel.

In a letter sent to Priebus Monday, the conservative signatories note an array of potentially illegal activities and express “outrage” over the campaign activities of RNC Member Henry Barbour, who directed the activities of a political action committee that was involved in the runoff and supported Cochran’s reelection. Among the actions the coalition wants investigated are racially incendiary campaign ads and literature, allegations of illegal vote buying, inciting illegal voting by Democrats in a Republican primary, campaign finance irregularities and violations of the RNC’s own rules.
